Modules to include on your WordPress blog

If you have just started or are words to start a WordPress blog, you probably know that there are many of various Add ons, you can include to make everything what you want with the program.

This is the beauty of WordPress. There are so many ways, you can upgrade in the core curriculum and include all kinds of features. There is a plugin for just about everything you can imagine.

For me, there are a few different type of Add ons then say speak one by one:
1 Widgets
2 Plug-ins
3 Themes

Widgets

Each installation of WordPress is installed with the option of using what is called "Widgets". A widget is basically a feature that you can add to the sidebar of your WordPress blog. The great thing about widgets is that they are simply as drag and drop to only install - no dev knowledge necessary!

Some features you can add to your sidebar with the click of a mouse:
-Calendar
-Links (also known as the Blogroll)
-Recent comments
-Text (you can put anything in including your email address subscribe form)
-Meta Information (you can put your blog login and other information in the sidebar)

Now, some of the custom themes you will get have included their own unique widgets that are not usually in the widget area. There is also widget options to add archives, categories and a search bar, but they are generally automatically encoded in most of the WordPress themes.

Plugins

If you can think of something, that you want to do with your blog, there is probably a plugin for this.

The plugins are another add on functionality that make WordPress a powerful leader in blogs and also in the design of Web site.

Here are some of the types of plugins, you can install and use on your site:
-Spam protection.
-SEO
-Connections social media.
-Comment answers.
-RSS feed.
-Post related lists.

Plugins are quite easy to install as well. You can simply click on the "plug-ins" option in your WordPress dashboard, and then choose to add new plugins. Then, you can search through the available plug-ins that you can download and install. Once they are installed, it is a question to go to your plugins page and click on activate.

Themes

WordPress itself is a free program. There are also hundreds or thousands of free themes available online by a wide range of designers. Not only this, but you can buy a better quality more professional themes for a fairly reasonable price.

I put themes in the category of an "add on" because they really can be changed very easily. This is the kind of like a dress, you can put on your site. If you change your theme to all the other elements of the blog as your widgets, plugins and content remain the same.

Many of the themes come with their own characteristics, and as I mentioned before widgets.

Then, you have three main categories of Add ons you can include in your WordPress blog.

If you want that some specific recommendations on WordPress themes and plugins, I personally used then be sure to free Guide of blogs seminars and weekly email tips where I share lots of great information on how to buildgrow and enjoy with a WordPress blog.
