Creation of a blog can be much easier than you think. It can be done in a few simple steps. Anyone with little or no technical skills can create and maintain a blog. With the use of blogs Wordpress software, it is a process that anyone can follow.

Blogs have become popular in recent years. The definition of a blog in Wikipedia is: a blog (contraction of the term "weblog") [1] is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events or other material such as video or graphics. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. "blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Blogs are also used by companies and traders of the internet as Web sites to promote their products. They are chronological entries of articles and other promotional materials related to their products. Blogs are usually more personal than traditional sites and represent the owner of the Web site.

In addition to being a very easy way to create your own website, the search engines is also promote blogs. You can also insert some plug-ins (software modules that add specific functionality) in your blog to help with SEO. I use all the in one SEO Pack, which is strongly recommended.

Here are the steps for creating a blog with Wordpress:

1 Obtain a domain name. Go to GoDaddy or Hostmonster and buy a domain name, what should you approximately $10.00 for a year.

2 Get hosting for your domain. I use Hostmonster and Hostgator, and both provide exceptional service. Your annual hosting should be about $100. Enable your domain on your host server. If you do not know how to do this, both of these companies have 24/7 telephone service, and they will help you.

3 Download a Wordpress blog. In Hostmonster, go to your cPanel and find software, Services and Simple Script. Go to click on the logo of Wordpress Script list and it will open a screen where you can choose your style of blog.

Try to choose a formatting style that you like, although you can change later. This will bring up a screen that will ask you where you want to press installed Word and a list where you will be click scroll on the domain that you chose for this blog. At this point, you have installed your blog.

With Hostgator, it is very similar. Go to your cPanel and the search for Services and software, then Fantastico Deluxe. It opens to a list. Choose Wordpress and "new facility".

4 User name and password. Once installation is complete, you will see a screen with a user name and password. It will also be the URL of the site, which is your blog address and log in the URL, which is your dashboard, where will you edit your blog.

5. Dashboard. Log on to your dashboard. As soon as you log it will ask you to change your password from the password generated to your own choice of password. This will lead you to the profile section when you choose change password. Finish the rest of your profile. Save your settings.

6 Blog name and subtitle. Go to the "Settings" under "Appearance" section and fill in the name of your blog that appears in bold as a title in the header section of your blog and the slogan, which is the subtitle for the name of your blog. Always save your settings.

There are many different choices of widgets, you can choose, and you just pull worms your sidebar and insert all the information you want. For example, there are widgets for "Last comments" and automatically generates a list, that the comments of your messages. Also "Posts recent" automatically generates a list with the titles of your posts as create you them.

However, there is the "text" widget where you can install the plain text or HTML. HTML text is used for the banners and graphics.

9 Create pages. Generally, you will create pages for me, coordinated and legal disclosure.

10 Change your theme. You can change your theme at any time by going on the "Appearance" tab, "add new themes. You will have a selection of the features that you can choose from for the design of your blog. Once you find a design you like, you click simply "install" and then "enable". Magic in the creation of Widgets

The internet has become a lifeline for most current users of the day. It has become this giant melting pot of information, ready to blow our minds with anything. Given that many have themselves locked on the internet in the various methods through e-mail, web sites, blogs, trade and other accounts, it is not surprising that learn how to create widgets is worth some consideration. While we can argue technical inability, technological progress has enabled the technologically-challenged join with confidence to the outer ring more than geeks. Ideas on creating a WordPress Blog

Most personal branding experts suggest that the Web site of your blog "hub" of your brand image.

I chose WordPress for my platform of blog on the advice of some local experts and have also seen it mentioned by many experts as the platform of choice. Naturally you can always consider others.

There are two ways to create a WordPress blog: on their site, or on your own site. I suggest to have your own website because if you host on their site, you are limited to the appearance of your blog and I do not think that you can have widgets all the.

What steps follow you to the creation of your blog on your own Web site?

Book your url
Decide where to host the website
Choose a theme
Choose and customize your plugins / widgets
Advertise the heck out of your new section first step is to decide what will be the name of your Web site. Your name must be in the URL. If your name is taken, as put a hyphen between your first and last name, or perhaps put "meet" at the front, get creative. One of my friends has developed "goto" from its name. Be as creative as necessary, but get your name in there! Reserve your URL.

For hosting, you can go with a big business or locate a smaller local company if you want to really know the people you want to buy. The Chamber of Commerce is a good place to search for local businesses. My only caution here is that they really to have their act together as backups and security. In fact anyone who hosts your blog, I was told that you must have your own backup just in case! A good question to ask is failure how much they had last year, which caused them, and what is the length of the longest. I would also ask their experience with search engine ranking.

Other factors to consider are cost (naturally) and facilitate changes. Ideally, you want to have access to make changes yourself and not pay. You can keep your photo update over time, you can join sites more social networking or other groups and want to mention that, or you may need to delete something or change your contact information. You do want not expensive or long time to get the changes.

I assume that you already know that you will write on. You want your blog entries to be linked, in an area of expertise for you. If you are in the map, writing about piano playing a day and bird watching, the next day, as foreign travel later, your readers do not know what to expect and you'll not people to bookmark or subscribe. You want to create a "suite", this is what personal brand is a question! Therefore be a central theme in topic, or create several blogs on different topics featured.

The layout and graphics of a WordPress blog comes from the "theme". Several themes are available on the web for WordPress. Some are free, and I chose a free to save money. The only caveat with a free theme is that there is probably a link integrated bottom of the page for someone other site Web (the person who wrote that code wants to do something for their work)! If you know someone who has knowledge of personal computers programming they can get rid of that for you if you want. Choose a theme somewhat for the purpose of your blog. I will warn you, you can spend days of hunting down that you want! Don't forget that you intend to keep long (this is your personal brand after all!) to take the time to advance for a you really want to.

One thing that you will immediately see, is that some themes have space for ads. Some people sell advertising space on their blogs to offset the costs of execution. If you are involved in a company that provides advertising banners for you, or you find something on the web that you like and it fits, you would plug those as well as you make no money on that. I chose to find a free advertising space.

Plug-ins and widgets are unlimited! You can have a widget created for virtually any social media site or site information sharing. One thing that you will find is that the widgets that show your latest posts on this site can slow down the loading of your page. Some widgets may also not well fit into your theme. You just play with them. Normally, it is good to have some kind of widget that links to each of your social media sites. You also want to bookmark and share the widget to enable people to easily find the way back and share your messages with others. Some plug-ins that are not anything on your page are also useful as a plug-in for editing comments, one to thank automatically people for comment and for the creation of labels for you automatically. I also have a plug-in for my browser (not blog) which allows me to write and publish in the browser and it gave me more features than the dashboard on the blog admin page.

My favorite widget is a simple text widget. This allows you to connect to any graphic image with a web URL. I have a few things fun with that!

Once you have the custom site, the last step is to advertise it. My blog is the Web site that i list on my profile on all social media sites. I am announcing links to individual posts, but my blog is my central identity. Don't forget that you want your blog to be your hub, because as long as you have your own site, it is one of the sites that you control the content of! Other sites may contain advertising, recommend "related" post that you do not approve or links taking people from other places. They can also close your account, or spend time with too many users online or modify the site so things are not the same. Your site is the only control you.

I hope that you find useful. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Creation of Widgets for Placement on your Web sites and blogs

With a widget, you can place the current information in your blogs and or / Web sites on other Web pages and your personal pages on myspace, ning.com social as networks and private clubs. It is not only fun and instructive, but an excellent promotional tool.

What is a widget? According to Wikipedia a "web widget is everything." which can be embedded into a page HTML, i.e. a web page A widget adds content to this page which is not static. Widgets are usually by a third party has arisen... Widgets are also called modules, extracts, and plug-in. Widgets can be written in HTML, but in JavaScript, also flash and other scripting languages...

Applications can be integrated into the website of a third party by placing a small code snippet. It is becoming a distribution or channel marketing for many companies. "The code brings in 'live' content – advertisements, links, images – from a site of third party without the owner of the web site having to update."

You've probably seen widgets on the web sites you have visited. A click on the widget will take you to the source of the information. Although the widgets have been around since the end of the 1990s, they are becoming increasing more popular especially with the rise of social networking.

I started to play with widgets as a way to promote my own AC published content. While widgets are not that difficult, they can be a little tricky at first so little pets for you. It took me several tries to develop my own widgets and put them on my blog and social networking sites. Now, they work perfectly without any problem. As I add content to my AC page for example, the widgetautomaticallyupdates to display the most current article titles.

If you haven't had the opportunity to work with the widgets or have attempted, without success, this article is for you. With little effort, you will be able to make widgets and place them on web pages that you choose. Once mastered the widgets are really cool and is worth the effort.

Make a Widget

Widgetbox.com, you can make a widget to place on your pages. You can customize the widget with the size of details, title and colors, and even list their blidget directory giving more exposure to your blog and AC page (every little promotion help). You can make as many widgets as you want, I have one for my blog women - sense .com and another for my content producer AC far page.

Go to http://widgetbox.com, on the left side panel, click on the button 'make a blidget'. This will open a box that requests the url where the information is collected. For my blog I just enter the url of the blog, (http://women-sense.com). Widgetbox.com automatically takes RSS feed for this URL. Don't ask me how, I have no idea, but it works. For my associated content, I added the actual RSS link I found by clicking on the RSS symbol and copy the URL from the address bar of the browser.

Once you add the link to the blidget dialog it will open to a page that will give you customization options. You will see your widget on the right side with your RSS feed information. You can choose to list article titles or titles, a summary of the article. Sizing and different colors or images are other options available. Mislead with the options until you get it you want to look at.

When you have finished setting options, and you are satisfied with the way it looks, click one of the titles of article to ensure it works correctly. When you click it it should click to your promotion site.

Register and get the Code

If working correctly, the next step is to get the code. Now, you will need the code to place the widget in your page, myspace or other website of your choice.

To get the code for the next step in the creation of your widget offers you the possibility to register your widget in the Gallery of blidget. I've opted for this and you will probably want to do the same. It can only add to your exposure. Add keyword tags, and then click "publish blidget".

Now you will be asked to register if you do not already have an account. Don't worry, the service is absolutely free. By registering, you will be able to return and make widgets as much as you want and add them to your account for editing.

Once you have registered you will be now taken to another page with several options. Near the Summit, you will see the title of the widget (example: AC Media) at the far right of the title, click the green button that says "get widget".

Place the Widget on Web sites

A drop-down list opens so that you can choose where to place the widget. You will see that there are lot of choices. If you are placing your widget on myspace, for example, choose that selection. Asked you your myspace email and password, with what article you want the widget to be placed. Widgetbox.com will automatically place the widget on your myspace page in the section you want.

Perhaps you want to place the widget on a site that is not listed. In this case, you would choose the section that says, "get the code". There are two choices to the choice, a Javascript and a Flash script. At this stage, you will need to experiment to see what code will work on the site that you attempt to place the widget.

Many sites do not Javascript. If you work on your own Web pages, you can probably use the Javascript code. Copy and paste the code in your html Web sites, register and download your page as usual. The widget should function properly.

For other sites as http://ning.com you want as the flash script. Select all, then copy the code that the flash script. Paste the code in a block where you are able to add information by clicking on edit and add in the box and paste the code. You are almost finished. Before saving, you need to add the opening and closing of divs for the code that it is displayed.

Click Save and close the open text box and your widget must be displayed. If it correctly your widget will be automatically updated each time you add new content on the site that promotes your widget.
