How to get more supporters for your Blog

Every business owner knows that customer returning are the best. They know you and trust in you, they buy more than you, and they recommend you to others.

The same principle applies even more in online marketing. This is why you should move your way to your visitors subscribe to your blog.

Get subscribers and their follow-up

There are many ways for your readers to follow you. The most popular are the RSS, email, Twitter and Facebook. I strongly recommend you add to your blog.

Most of these methods allow you to track the number of your supporters. A notable exception is the RSS. In a normal WordPress installation, for example, it is impossible for you to know how many RSS subscribers you have.

A good solution to this problem is the FeedBurner service, currently provided by Google. It shows you the total number of your subscribers, and some more useful to their subject details:

. views of the element
. clicks on the link of the element
. Subscribers time line

Allows you to analyze the performance of your diet and try to tweak it for best results.

View statistics of the disciple

Some social networks and WordPress widgets allow you to display your number of followers. Do you need to do?

I think that the answer is Yes, with a small caveat. You only need to view subscriber numbers when they are reasonably high. For most people, the most important threshold value is almost 1 000 subscribers. Once you touch number, you get the following benefits from displayinfg it:

. social proof that your blog is interesting
. attract invited authors
. attract advertisers
. Maximize your subscription rate

My number one suggestion is to increase the visibility of the buttons of your subscription. Make sure that they are easy to find and click on the first screen of your page and perhaps somewhere in the post body, as well.

Try different widgets to attract your customers. They come in all colours, forms and sizes. Some may work better for your audience and development page on the page than others.

Split test your if possible email subscription forms. Good email services provide tools and instructions to that effect. Unfortunately, for RSS feeds, Facebook and Twitter it is perhaps not an option.

What I propose is to follow your rate subscription over a period of time with a widget, and then to another. Try to exclude the other variables. Run each case for a full week, preferably in time nothing remarkable when there is no vacation or special promotions.

Widgets and WordPress plugins to subscribe and showing statistics

There are dozens of plugins to attract subscribers and display the readership numbers. Here are a few of them that I noticed and found useful:
1 Plugin FeedSmith to Google Feedburner
2 Feedburner mail - blog updates by email
3 Meter of subscribers Feedburner
4 Plugin dialog welcome WP
5 Share and follow the plugin
6 Box like Facebook
7 Plugin for twitter Fans
8 Twitter counter Widget
9 Twitter buttons
10 Widget to follow TwitMeme

By carefully placed and tested these widgets on your blog, you can increase your number of daily readers, attract more advertisers and invited authors.
