Create a Facebook Page for your Blog.

Facebook has more than 500 million users. This is an incredible amount of people go to a place for much of their news, social life and the strengthening of relations. Imagine if you could siphon off just a portion of this traffic and send it to your blog.

Well, the good news is that you can! In fact, Facebook is pretty easy. All you have to do is create a Page for your blog. A Facebook Page allows you to create a mini site in Facebook, where people can come to display news on your blog, click on the links of your blog, comment on the things you post, display pictures share you and much more. This is an excellent way to create a sense of community around your blog, and it is also an excellent way to share your ideas and content with other people. These people can sink in all of your page, and if they decide to "as", then whenever you update Facebook Page, the update will appear in their news stream.

When he asks what type of page you want to create, select "brand, product or organization." Enter all the details of your blog and any other information that you want to share with your readers, and you should be good to go.
When I started my first Facebook Page for one of my blogs, I've been confronted with a problem: I was the only person who "loved" page of my blog! It seemed I would wrong to get other people to my page "as" when nobody had already done. Then how do you get the most people to "like" page of your blog?

One option is to go to your existing blog readers and ask them to follow you on Facebook. You could create a new blog asking them to do this and then to indicate a link to the Facebook Page of your blog. This option is free, which is always good, but you just have to hope that your readers respond.

There is another option that will get new people exposed to your blog, but some pay. This would be to create a Facebook ad for your page. This is the option I chose to get more people to "like" my page, and I was shocked to see how it worked! I spent about $40 leaving the ad running for a few days, but at the moment, nearly 300 people decided to "like" the Facebook Page of my blog. This is 300 people that otherwise would not have known on my blog, and once they have begun to read and post comments on my updates, more people have seen my updates, and eventually the number of people who "love" page of my blog has increased to more than 700. He really created a sense of community around the blog, and it is an excellent way to get traffic to your blog. And should not be a small investment.

Announcement of Facebook is a form of pay-per-click advertising (PPC), so it requires that little money. However, it is easy to get a response rate much higher that advertising for a product because you are not requesting the ad viewer to open their wallets and spend money. All what they need to do is "like" your page, and if your content is compelling and interesting, you should have no problem for many to follow you on Facebook.

A tip in addition to the page of your blog: you can also add a Facebook widget on your blog, which will make it easy for someone stumbling across your blog while surfing the web for "like" your page. To add a Facebook widget to your blog, do a search on Google for "facebook widget" and select a "Badge of Page".

Creating a Facebook Page for your blog is easy and it can really help your readers to engage with you, create a sense of community around your blog. It is also a great way to expose new people to your messages. It requires an investment in terms of time editing and in the case of an announcement, a little money as well. But the investment can easily be worth the effort.
